Come and learn how to design your own native food forest creating a thriving eco-system with edible native plants. In this workshop, you will learn about the 7 layers of a forest, how to choose your native species, preparing for and planting your chosen species, and ongoing care & maintenance. We will also be sharing some ideas on how to use some of the native fruits, leaves, and flowers. This is a hands-on practical session where you get to put your hands in the soil planting more than 50 native plants on the community garden site.
