A very kind lady, called Kim, offered us a whole stack of horse poo. Yum, yum. So here the good people are collecting the poo from her place to spread across the block. We really don’t know much of the history of 37 Tozer Park Road, apart from these images Gympie Regional Council gave us from 1992 after a flood event.
Doesn’t look totally delicious or nutritious! So before we start planning any planting our aim is to try and enrich the soil as much as possible and to stem the water flow in a flood event, so it stays with us rather than gushing away.
Step one: poo
Step two: mulch
Step three: seed balls for cover crops
